I definitely agree that facebook can get boring (yet still remain addictive to the extent that you may end up signing in just to stare at it!!) and that blogging can be a great tool to make new friends.

But I like how facebook makes the world seem so small especially when looking at your friend's "mutual friends" and being amazed at the unexpected people you may find (especially old childhood friends). I think it serves as a great tool to analyze how many of the world's population is connected and in what ways (which indeed can give you a glimpse of the person's adventures and experiences).

I recently joined twitter but don't use it much, because to me, it looks like a website with only facebook's status and still don't see the point to it.

Yeah, I know one of those very FB people with the overdose of albums. She posts 3 albums every month just of her everyday life. It clogs up my news feed, so I have had to keep part of it hidden, else it would drive me up the wall!

I agree with all of the above - although I am guilty of not being the last part of the blog bullet (committed) haha. Not for now, anyway.
