Amidst all the last minute shopping, gift-giving, and holiday parties, I hope you were able to remember that Christmas exists only because God sent his one and only beloved son to save us.

Back to being conjoined twins!

Played around with red lipstick with Christina, found our perfect shades. Stopped by the local vintage store on a whim and scored some J.Crew matchstick jeans for $5.50 and a leopard skirt for $8.50. Gave my mom her Christmas present because I can't keep presents to myself. Off to go buy something for my dad and brother because they are totally going to notice the new shoes I got for mom!

common discretion

I really love the simplicity of men's sneakers. One day I will be able to provide my shoes of choice to all the men in my life! ("all the men" meaning dad, brother, boyfriend hehe)

And maybe also order a men's size 5.5 for myself while I'm at it.

Heels are enchanting, but sometimes I find myself staring at sneakers for undisclosed amounts of time. Yikes!

Noko Jeans - Made in North Korea

Three Swedish entrepreneurs launched a line of designer jeans made in North Korea in an effort to increase interaction with the most isolated country in the world. The jeans are made only in black because of the affiliation blue jeans have with the United States.

Although the jeans won't be going on sale in a department store tomorrow as planned, the 1,100 jeans that have been made will be available on the Noko website. The estimated price is about $220 per pair.



Note: The second photo looks a bit like an MJ reenactment. Rumors have it that Kim Jong-il is a big fan.

Boston based fashion bloggers New Brahmin, JenLovesKev, and PunkyStyle are hosting a Boston Fashion Blogger Mixer on Saturday, December 12th from noon to six p.m. at Luna Boston!

I think I'll stop by to take a break from studying for finals... and perhaps meet some of the most stylish people in Boston? I always thought the Boston blogging scene was a bit small... but looking at all the RSVP's I'm curious to see who will be there! Thanks to the aforementioned bloggers for setting this up!
