silver things that fly

I was thinking about coloring the bird from the previous post bright pink, but Alli surprised me with a chrome spray paint when I came over to her apartment in search of a bird transformation. In expert blogger fashion, she also documented the process for me to post on viva la sk. Thanks, neighbor! I'm glad that I was able to give the little one a shiny facelift - I thought it deserved more attention in my apartment! I would also like to note that the fumes from spray painting in the corridor led to late night cupcakes and heart-shaped brownie baking.

  8. ^ I wouldn't necessarily call it "backfire" Anonymous Tim. Facebook can get boring but it won't prevent me from asking my network to help me out with something. As it was said in my previous post, Facebook is more about who you know - and this contest requires help from a lot of the people I know on Facebook. I'm just utilizing all my resources online to win the bike!

  14. How does your goldfish survive in that bowl?! I had several as a child and we never had those fancy oxygen pump systems, just a simple bowl, so the next morning they would always be floating on the top :(
