Dear ugly pretty girls,

Your attempt to make pretty almond eyes is flattering, really. Maybe next time you take pictures of the overdone "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil", you could, oh I don't know, gouge each other's eyes? Just a suggestion.

Why is this and this considered racist,

P.S. Honestly, what were you thinking? Phillip Lim, Richard Chai, Vera Wang, Doo.Ri, Derek Lam, Alexander Wang, Hye Park, Daul Kim, Hyoni, and must I go on? You're surrounded by Asians in the fashion industry. Bravo!

  1. yeah, i'm really over seeing the whole chink eye thing. i mean, it was never "in" for me anyway but it's so frustrating seeing the domino effect that some inbred kid had on the rest of the world. a phrase that someone said comes to mind: "Disney may be the the AntiChrist. And I respect that. But Miley is just a stupid hemorrhoid on the asshole of humanity." same situation, same people, different names.

  2. This first time I saw the trend was with the Miley picture and now it seems I'm seeing it everywhere. I was suprised when I saw it posted on knightcat but then again... However, I do indeed think it's horrible that so many young teens can't see the significance of making that gesture. Sometimes, I wish people knew the differnce between looking "cool" and looking foolish.

  3. I think I may have missed something. Why is everyone doing that? How is this a trend?

The thing with models and Miley Cyrus is they're not that bright, so I doubt they're even realising that what they're doing is racist.

I just don't quite understand why you'd even do that in a photo!

  4. i dont understand what the hell these girls are thinking. they look so blonde and "german" and by doing this its like they are sort of being racist. If an asian person did this i dont think i'd care but this is so retarded of them. Oh well just makes them look like low class citizens (which they are). Too bad the world is still too stupid to realize that our president is black and maybe the racist eye jokes should stop.

  5. Dear SK,
if you posted a photo, pulling your eyes wide open, would that be racist and offensive to the Caucasian population?

  6. the definition of racism refers to denoting race-based prejudice, violence, discrimination, or oppression...

so.. does this mean by these girls pulling faces in a photo they are being violent and oppressive?
